Jeff is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare operations, and business development. Currently, he serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Clovis Davis Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics, where he leads strategic initiatives, operations, and global product distribution. His expertise includes forging impactful business partnerships, designing user-centered solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Jeff is also the COO and President of Consulting Services at KKM Global Healthcare Group, a multidisciplinary firm focused on healthcare business development worldwide. Additionally, he serves as Director and Board Secretary at DermaCure RT/Radiance RT, a company specializing in radiation therapy and treatments for conditions such as skin cancer, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and other inflammatory diseases. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Indiana University and a Master’s in Health Administration from St. Louis University.

Jed started his pharmaceutical career with Merck, and later held several senior positions with Bayer Healthcare, Altana Pharma and Nycomed respectively. Currently Jed serves as the President of Clovis Davis Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics, USA, a niche specialty pharmaceutical company, focused on launching innovative and novel pharmaceutical and medical testing programs within Cancer Care, Women’s Health, and Wildlife Animal Health, across key global markets in the US, Middle East, and Africa – adding value to stakeholders and ultimately benefiting patients.
Through his extensive industry experience, Jed continues to build sustainable and profitable relationships and business models with customers and stakeholders at all levels, setting and achieving targets and goals, leading by example with a collaborative approach and possessing exceptional interpersonal skills to engage and encourage others through change.

Simon Agwale

Simon Agwale, Ph.D is the founder and CEO of INNOVATIVE BIOTECH LTD, Keffi, Nigeria and Innovative Biotech USA Inc. He is currently the Chair Africa COVID-19 Vaccine Task Team of the African Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative (AVMI), and also a member of the recently constituted ECOWAS expert committee on Access and Local Production of Vaccines in West Africa…
He has been at the forefront of shaping the future direction of vaccine development worldwide. Dr. Agwale is a highly respected virologist/vaccinologist especially with regard to his work on HIV vaccine development. He has a vision for the development and investigation of HIV vaccine constructs from prevalent Nigerian strains, which are relevant to Nigerians. Dr. Agwale has put a lot of efforts to push this agenda forward and has received global recognition for these laudable efforts. He has already made several candidates DNA vaccines, some of which have been shown to be immunogenic in animal models. Furthermore, his studies on molecular epidemiology of HIV in Nigeria led to the establishment of subtypes A/G recombinant and G as the most predominant subtypes in Nigeria. Dr. Agwale led the studies that established the first molecular evidence of HIV-2 in Nigeria. In addition, he reported the first case of drug-resistant HIV-1 in Nigeria. Dr. Agwale is currently working on development of novel vaccines against Ebola, HIV, and COVID-19 using innovative viral-like particles (VLPs). With over 20years experience combining top-level scientific research with the operations of a Biotech company, he has been involved in academic research at various institutions in Nigeria (University of Jos; National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development; and now Innovative Biotech LTD), Brazil (Oswaldo Cruz Institute, Rio de Janeiro), Germany (Bernhard Notch Institute for Tropical Diseases Hamburg; and Robert Koch Institute Berlin), the UK (Imperial College at Silwood Part, Ascot), and the United States (Institute of Human Virology Baltimore, National Institutes of Health Bethesda and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Atlanta). Dr. Agwale was West Africa’s representative on HIV/AIDS for Developing countries Coordinating Committee (DCCC) at European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Program (EDCTP; http://www.edctp.org), where he was also the chair of the African Scientists committee (DCCC).
He represented African scientists at the partnership board and General Assemble-European Economic Interest Group (GA-EEIG) of EDCTP. Furthermore, Dr. Agwale was appointed Chairman of the Nasarawa State’s Specialist Hospital, Lafia. He also represented Nigeria and West Africa at the NEPAD Council. He has experience in vaccine development and large epidemiological projects management. He played a key role in the development of the Nigerian HIV vaccine plan and the creation of the Nigerian AIDS Vaccine Program (NAVAP) both of which were adopted by Nigerian Stakeholders. In addition, he was a participant in the development of guidelines for the use of Antiretroviral in Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigerian National Vaccine Plan (NNVC). In addition, Dr. Agwale is currently board member of the New HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS) handling the scientific affairs of the organization. He was an expert adviser to the Nigerian National Advisory Committee on Vaccines & Biologicals for the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration (NAFDAC) and Chair of the Ad hoc technical committee of the African AIDS Vaccine Partnership (AAVP). Furthermore, he is a member and a steering committee member of the Nigeria Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas (NAPPSA). Dr. Agwale has represented Nigeria and Africa at various local and international scientific fora including assignment as temporary adviser to WHO/UNAIDS. In 2004, 2005, and 2008 Dr. Agwale served on the European Commission Framework Program 6 (FP6) and FP7 grant review committee and currently a grant reviewer for the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP). In addition, he was a member of the European HIV Vaccine Special Working Group. Furthermore, he was an active member of the West African Consortium (WANETAM) to prepare West Africa for the conduct of clinical trials of drugs/vaccines against TB, AIDS and Malaria. He is a recipient of several scholarships, fellowships and grants from reputable organizations around the world. He has also authored and co-authored numerous noteworthy publications.

Dr. Cobus Raath

Dr. Raath has worked, lectured, or consulted in more than 50 countries and has held numerous international appointments, including Adjunct Professor positions at Texas A&M; University and Murdoch University. His contributions to wildlife conservation and veterinary science include service on international advisory committees, conservation initiatives, and species management programs. A prolific scientific contributor, Dr. Raath has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, contributed chapters to leading veterinary textbooks, co-authored the Handbook of Wildlife Chemical Immobilization, and delivered over 50 conference presentations worldwide. His expertise spans wildlife anesthesia and immobilization, conservation medicine, wildlife disease management, game capture and translocation, pharmaceutical development, and One Health implementation. He remains actively involved in global conservation projects through Wildlifevets.com and Tsavran Consulting, while serving as Principal Scientific Advisor to Wildlife Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Raath is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities in wildlife veterinary medicine and chemical immobilization, with a career dedicated to advancing wildlife conservation, animal health, scientific research, and sustainable wildlife management.
Dr. Jacobus (Cobus) Philippus Raath BVSc is an internationally recognized wildlife veterinarian, scientist, entrepreneur, and conservation specialist with more than four decades of experience in wildlife health, capture, translocation, disease control, pharmaceutical development, and conservation medicine. After obtaining his BVSc degree from the University of Pretoria in 1985, Dr. Raath joined South African National Parks (SANParks), where he served as a veterinarian responsible for 22 national parks, including Kruger National Park. During his tenure he managed veterinary research, disease investigation and control, and wildlife capture and relocation programs. In 1996, he founded Wildlifevets.com, a leading wildlife veterinary practice providing wildlife capture, relocation, clinical services, disease investigation, research, training, and international consultancy. He is also the founder of Wildlife Pharmaceuticals, a company that grew into a globally recognized wildlife pharmaceutical manufacturer with cGMP-certified facilities, multiple registered products, exports to more than 30 countries, and significant investment in postgraduate research and innovation.
